Eternal Rome: Pope-less, not Hopeless!

A thought for the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul.

“The crowd is pressing more than usual, clad in festal garb; tell me, my friend, what means this concourse: all Rome is swaying to and fro, mad as it were with joy?—Because this day recalls a memory of a triumph the most gorgeous: Peter and Paul, both of them Victors in death sublime, have ennobled this day with their blood. Tiber, henceforth sacred, since he flows betwixt their tombs set on either bank, was witness of the cross and of the sword. Double trophy, double riches, claiming homage of the Queen-City; double solemnity on one day! Wherefore, behold the people of Romulus in two streams crossing one another, athwart the city! Let us haste our speed that we may be able to share in the two feasts; let us lose not one of these sacred hymns. First, let us pursue the way which leads to the Adrian bridge; yonder guilded roofs mark the spot where Peter reposes. There, at early dawn, the Pontiff offers his first vows. Hastening on and reaching the left bank, he comes presently to Paul’s tomb, there to offer once again the holy sacrifice. So remember, thus is honored this twice sacred day.” (Prudent. Peristeph.         Ours are the days of the Great apostacy prophesied by St. Paul, days in which the preachers of a new gospel, the synthesis of all heresies, having infiltrated and usurped the material structures of the Church, impersonates her legal organization, processes and authority. 

       Today, apostate Rome, [led by Bergoglio and his modernist cohorts, -agents of the organized forces of naturalism-] is swaying to and fro, mad as it were, with the false joy of the seeming triumph of their modernist agenda, unleashed at the robber council, Vatican II, over the Catholic Cause. 

        But we know, firmly, and truly, that "the gates of hell shall not shall not prevail" [Matt. 16:18]

"The gates of hell That is, the powers of darkness, and whatever Satan can do, either by himself or his agents. For as the Church is here likened to a house, or fortress, built on a rock; so the adverse powers are likened to a contrary house or fortress, the gates of which, i.e. the whole strength, and all the efforts it can make, will never be able to prevail over the city or Church of Christ. By this promise we are fully assured, that neither idolatry, heresy, nor any pernicious error whatsoever shall at any time prevail over the Church of Christ." (Challoner) 

        Today intransigent Catholics, having no part with apostate Rome, but in union with the Eternal Rome gladly recalls a memory of a triumph the most gorgeous: Blessed Peter and Paul, both Victors in death sublime; who have ennobled this day with their blood. 

        Though some may be tempted to consider the present eclipse of the Eternal Rome to be hopeless. Among such, some on the one hand deny the eclipse; others affirm it but suggests that Eternal Rome is going through a kind of self-immolation -a self-destruction. What blasphemy! Some still, are tempted to equate material [de facto] occupation of apostate Rome by modernist intruding impostors to be a right to be acknowledged by Catholics. 

        It cannot be firmly, with all sweetness and charity, affirmed enough that:  Eternal Rome is not hopeless, nor is material occupation by modernist intruders an ecclesiastical legal right. No. Ecclesiastical legal right has consequences, so too intrusion to an ecclesiastical office. 

        It is a fact, not merely floating words; External Rome; the One, Holy, Apostolic, Catholic Rome is simply, totally, Pope-less de jure [someone is not legally appointed to the Pope's Seat] but not de facto [but someone -a manifest modernist heretic- actually possesses it or functions in; carrying out pope-like actions - canonizations, encyclicals, appointing bishops, creating cardinals, kissing Koran, incensing Budha; worshipping and promoting worship of Pachamama...] that:

 "that wicked one shall be revealed...Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power and signs and lying wonders: And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity“  [2Thess.2:8-11] 

        There is a clear distinction between the One, Holy, Apostolic and Catholic Rome and the impious, apostate, anti-apostolic and one-world order anti-Catholic Rome: and that distinction has its consequences; grave consequences... 

        St. Peter and St. Paul, Princes of the Eternal Rome: intercede for us, obtain for us something of your evangelical zeal, obtain for us something of your perseverance - perseverance unto death, in confessing and upholding the True Gospel. Deliver those hypnotized by the hypocrisy of modernist intruders and impostors to recognize and totally reject both them and their strange gospel, to the greater glory of God and the exultation of Christ's Mystical Body.
