SPIRITUAL IVF AND PROSTITUTION: Hypocrisy Of THE MODERNIST BISHOPS’ CONFERENCE OF NIGERIA

“What agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.”  — 2 Cor. 6:16

The Modernist Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria, adorned in the Catholic name and Catholic-looking garments, condemns bodily IVF and prostitution with their lips — and rightly so. But with their principles, words, hands and deeds, they promote their spiritual equivalents, which are far worse. Think on it... 

Preamble:

A recent communiqué of the Modernist Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria claiming the Catholic name, widely circulated, caught my attention. For its sources, there is wholesale reliance on Vatican II texts: that is a sufficient reason to be worried! Read through the Catholic lens, it is a mixed bag of half-truths and errors and ambiguities -not surprising a bit! Among what would pass as the “correct points” in the communique we find defense of moral teaching on IVF and denunciation of prostitution. Laudable, isn't it? 

But when you consider that the same people, faithful to the Modernist agenda, are the principal agents of spiritual IVF and spiritual prostitution in Nigeria the irony of their hypocrisy is unmasked. They condemn IVF in the body, yet perform IVF in the soul. They denounce prostitution of the flesh, yet prostitute the Bride of Christ. How laudable could that be?

Are they entirely oblivious of their illogic? What automatons then they make! 

Be that as it may, the purpose of this article is to briefly unmask the hypocrisy involved in proscribing bodily IVF and prostitution while actively promoting and defending spiritual IVF and prostitution, which is worse. 

God’s Plan for Life and Love

God created man and woman for holy union. In marriage, sanctified by the sacrament, the two become one flesh (Gen. 2:24). From this union springs forth new life, clothed with dignity, cherished in love.

The Church has ever taught:

“The conjugal act is destined primarily by nature for the begetting of children; those who in exercising it deliberately frustrate its natural power and purpose sin against nature and commit a deed which is shameful and intrinsically vicious.” — Pius XI, Casti Connubii (1930)

But fallen men, scorning God’s law, invent substitutes. Some corrupt the body through prostitution, where the act meant for holy love is sold like a trinket in the marketplace. Others corrupt the very source of life through in vitro fertilization (IVF), where embryos are manufactured, frozen, discarded — life torn from love, children treated like commodities.

Both are crimes against nature. Both degrade what God made holy. Both are mortal sins crying to Heaven for vengeance.

 God’s Plan for the Soul

As the body is made for chastity, so the soul is made for truth. Christ willed that supernatural life be conceived only in His Bride, the Catholic Church:

"The Church, founded on the apostles, is one and unique… Whoever is separated from the Church is united to an adulteress.” — St. Cyprian, On the Unity of the Church (A.D. 251)

But protestant heretics, Modernists, and false shepherds invent another way: a Christianity without the Church, a faith without truth, a religion without sacraments.

This is spiritual prostitution: giving what belongs to Christ alone — faith, worship, loyalty — to strange doctrines and false religions.

This is spiritual IVF: attempting to manufacture supernatural life by human means, cut off from the living embrace of Christ and His Mystical Body.

Both are betrayals. Both look like religion, but are sterile. Both mock God, the Author of grace.

“For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” — 2 Tim. 4:3

 IVF and Prostitution in the Soul

• IVF separates life from love.

In the laboratory, man dares to tear apart what God Himself has joined. Life — that most sacred spark — is snatched from the warm embrace of love and processed like merchandise, a child reduced to a product. What should be holy becomes mechanical; what should be born of love becomes a cold experiment.

So too in false religion: grace is ripped from the living union of Christ and His spotless Bride, the Church. Men fabricate a “faith” stitched together with slogans, programs, and emotions — but it is lifeless, sterile, incapable of begetting saints. It shines like glass, but has no warmth of fire. It glitters like tinsel, but carries no gold.

What is the result? Precisely this: a spiritual orphanage - souls wandering without Father or Mother, fed on formulas instead of sacraments, promised life but delivered only death.

• Prostitution separates love from holiness.

In the street, what God ordained to be pure and fruitful becomes a cheap trade. The body — meant for the holy union of matrimony — is sold without fidelity, without sanctity, without the covenant God requires. Pleasure is bought, but love is lost; the flesh is given, but the soul is betrayed.

So too in Modernism: the love of Christ is prostituted to false gods and false altars. The spotless Bride, the Church, is painted like a harlot and handed over to the world, to heretics, to infidels. Her sacred worship is bartered away in the market of ecumenism; her treasures squandered for applause. Love is offered without holiness, worship without fidelity — a marriage bed turned into a marketplace.

The result? A scarred Bride, dressed in rags of compromise, lured into the arms of strangers, while her true Spouse stands rejected at the door.

• False doctrine separates faith from truth.

The heretic speaks of “faith,” but it is faith emptied of truth — a hollow shell. Words of Scripture are twisted, sacraments disfigured, Christ’s authority denied. Faith divorced from truth is no faith at all, only a shadow, a mirage, a counterfeit.

All three spring from the same poisoned root: pride.

Man, swollen with arrogance, says: “I will invent my own way. I will improve on God’s design. I will be as God.” And so he mutilates life, defiles love, corrupts faith. IVF, prostitution, heresy — all are the same rebellion dressed in different clothing.

Yes. What IVF does to life, what prostitution does to love, false doctrine does to faith. They tear apart what God has united, leaving only corruption and death.

 A Nigerian Hypocrisy

The Modernist Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria, adorned in the Catholic name and Catholic-looking Episcopal garments, condemns bodily IVF and prostitution with their lips — and rightly so. But with their principles, words, hands and deeds, they promote their spiritual equivalents, which are far worse.

• They cry out against IVF clinics, yet in their sanctuaries they freeze souls with sterile, laboratory-made liturgies, novelties, and the emotional fumes of “charismatic fire.” Like embryos in glass, the faithful are left cold, without the warmth of Tradition, without the womb of Holy Mother Church.
• They denounce prostitution of the body, yet they prostitute the Bride of Christ — joining her hand with false religions in “dialogue” and “ecumenism,” offering what is holy to idols, and bartering away the dowry of truth for worldly applause and compromise
• They condemn doctors who tamper with embryos, yet they themselves tamper with the faith — mutilating catechisms, corrupting sacraments, tearing apart doctrine as if it were clay in their hands.

What blindness! What hypocrisy! They strain out the gnat of bodily sins, yet swallow whole the camel of spiritual adultery (cf. Matt. 23:24). They parade as shepherds, yet lead their flock into barren deserts where no living water flows. 

Better a pagan who knows he is outside the Church, than a Modernist bishop who prostitutes the Church from within. Don't you think so too? 

The Call: Summing Up

To anyone who glory in the Catholic name, whether in Nigeria or anywhere, this call is passionately addressed: do not be deceived!

The wolves come dressed in shepherds’ robes. They condemn with their lips the sins of the flesh, yet by their deeds they feed you with greater poisons of the soul.

• Yes—flee prostitution of the body! For the marriage bed must remain undefiled, a holy icon of Christ’s love for His Church. The body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, not an instrument of lust.
• Yes—flee IVF! For life must never be torn from love, nor the fruit of the womb manufactured like merchandise. God alone is Lord of life, and His plan is written into the holy bonds of matrimony.
• But above all—flee the greater evils: spiritual IVF and spiritual prostitution.

Spiritual IVF, where man-made liturgies, false charisms, and synthetic doctrines attempt to “generate” grace apart from the true altar of sacrifice.

Spiritual prostitution, where the Bride of Christ is betrayed into the arms of false religions, bartered away in “dialogue” and “ecumenical encounters.”

Are you a child of the Church? Prove yourself to be! Cling to Christ and His Bride, the spotless and faithful Church, outside of which there is no salvation. Say no to those modernist hypocrites in Episcopal dress.

Do not be lured by Modernist slogans, nor dazzled by false “renewals.” The only renewal is the Cross; the only fire is the Holy Ghost, who burns in the Sacrifice of the Mass, handed down by Tradition.

Remember: 

“He who hears the Church, hears Christ. He who despises the Church, despises Christ.” (Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi, 1943).

Therefore stand firm! Flee from the false shepherds who breed confusion. Flee from the harlotries of ecumenism. Flee from the sterile laboratories of Modernist liturgy. Return to the true altar, the true doctrine, the true Spouse of Christ—Holy Mother Church.

Remember: 

• IVF kills the body, 
• prostitution defiles the body, 
• but false doctrine slays the soul. 

To condemn the first while promoting the last is hypocrisy. True life, true love, true faith are found only in Christ and His Catholic Church.
