Yes, done from a Modernist heart covered by a Catholic-looking Episcopal attire... |
Preamble:
The recent report that a Nigerian Novus Ordo bishop built a mosque for displaced Muslims "as a sign of peace and solidarity" is not merely a political gesture. It is a sacrilegious and scandalous act that undermines the divine mission of the Catholic Church.
From a Catholic perspective, this act is a serious infraction of the First Commandment, a participation in false worship, and a manifestation of Modernist religious indifferentism condemned by the Popes before the Modernist usurpation and occupation of Catholic structures.
The First Commandment In brief
The First Commandment states: "Thou shalt not have strange gods before Me" (Ex. 20:3).
This commandment binds all men to render worship to the true God, the Most Holy Trinity, through the one Church He founded—the Roman Catholic Church. To build a mosque, a place of Islamic worship which denies the Trinity, the Incarnation, and the Redemption, is a direct violation of this commandment.
St. Thomas Aquinas:
To offer worship to God is an act of the virtue of religion... evident that it offers it to none but the true God." - Summa Theologica, II-II, q. 81, a. 1
Islam: A False Religion
It must be noted that Islam is not a sister religion to Christianity under the tongu-twisting fabrication "Abhrahamic Religions". It is a false religion.
It denies the divinity of Christ, the Trinity, and the Cross. It is blasphemous to suggest that the God of Islam is the same as the God of Catholic revelation, but this the modernists have been officially teaching since the launching of their manifesto at the pretended council (1962-1965).
Speaking of Islamism St. John of Damascus says:
The superstition of the Ishmaelites is the forerunner of the Antichrist." — De Haeresibus, c. 101
St. Alphonsus Liguori in his "History of heresies" calls Islam "the Impious sect of Mohammedanism...a destroying sect".
Now, to build a mosque by one who professes to be a Catholic is to facilitate a false and blasphemous cult, which is contrary to the salvation of souls. Such is born of religious indifferentism.
Religious Indifferentism: A Condemned Doctrine
Pope Gregory XVI wrote – Mirari Vos (1832):
"Now We consider another abundant source of the evils with which the Church is afflicted: indifferentism [...] this perverse opinion that all religions lead to salvation."
Pope Pius IX wrote – Quanta Cura (1864):
From this false idea of liberty flows the insanity that each person has a right to choose and practice any religion.
Pope Pius XI – Mortalium Animos (1928):
"It is clear that the Apostolic See can in no way take part in these assemblies of non-Catholics nor is it lawful to encourage them, for they imply that all religions are equal."
The "Bishop" is inspired by that "perverse opinion" and "insanity" that all religions are equal and leads to salvation. For him, error has rights in the public square, a right to be protected and promoted.
For anyone with informed Catholic common sense, it is easy to see how his action is a direct outgrowth of the false doctrines of the Council of Modernist heretics, especially the document Nostra Aetate, which treats non-Christian religions with uncritical reverence.
Fruit of Modernism
The case at hand is not an isolated aberration—he is the direct fruit of Vatican II and its rejection of the perennial Magisterium.
Pope St. Pius X wrote in Pascendi Dominici Gregis (1907) that Modernism leads to the annihilation of all religion. That it is the synthesis of all heresies.
Pope Leo XIII – Satis Cognitum (1896):
"The Church has never allowed her children to be infected by false doctrines under the pretext of charity or unity."
Now, without mincing words, it must be noted that the Novus Ordo "bishop" is a Modernist ecclesiastical intruder and robber, clothed in the garb of Catholic authority while actively destroying the Faith from within. By building a mosque, he publicly affirms the heresy that false religions can be vehicles of grace and peace and that any religion whatsoever has right to self expression in private and public and that this right must be protected and promoted.
A scandal!
Scandal is defined as any word or action that occasions the spiritual ruin of another. The Novus Ordo "Bishop's" action confirms Muslims in their errors, and leads unsuspecting Catholics into confusion and apostasy. His example is praised to the heights as a model for emulation: it is that scandalous.
Canon 1258 (1917 Code of Canon Law) states
It is not licit for the faithful to assist at or participate in any way in non-Catholic worship."
This canon binds not only laity but especially bishops, whose sacred office requires them to guard the deposit of faith—not to foster false worship. The fact that this fellow, being the product of the Modernist null and void ordinal, is therefore not a valid Bishop, is beside the point here.
St. Paul says in 2 Cor. 6:14: "What concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever?"
What Would Have Been the Catholic Response?
The Catholic response to internally displaced Muslims due to insurgency or war would be characterized by true charity ordered by the Faith, without compromising the Church’s exclusive claims to truth and salvation. The following principles hold sway:
- Charity Must Serve Truth. True charity is not mere humanitarianism or emotional sympathy—it is a supernatural virtue ordered to the eternal good of souls. Thus, acts of aid to non-Catholics must never imply approval of their religion or neutrality regarding their eternal salvation.
- Corporal Works of Mercy with the Spiritual in View. The Church has always upheld the corporal works of mercy—including feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless—but they are subordinated to the spiritual works, especially instructing the ignorant and admonishing sinners.
Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis (1943):
"Charity, which binds all together in unity, demands that we seek not only the temporal but especially the spiritual welfare of all.”
If a Catholic Bishop were to respond to similar situation, how would he have applied these principles in reality?
- Providing Material Aid - Not Religious Infrastructure. Catholics may assist displaced Muslims with food, clothing, and shelter, as acts of Christian mercy. However, building mosques, which is an act of supporting false worship, is absolutely forbidden.
- Providing Catholic Witness - Not Religious Indifferentism. Assistance must be given as Catholics, in the name of Christ and His Church, with no pretense that all religions are equal.
- Offering Evangelization - Not Compromise. The presence of displaced non-Catholics is an opportunity for mission, not for validating errors. Catholics should use the occasion to offer catechesis, distribute holy images, encourage devotion, and invite conversions.
- Segregation of Worship. Catholic charity never includes shared religious activities or building structures for false worship. Such would be formal cooperation in idolatry and heresy.
Are There Historical Examples?
Most certainly.
- During the Spanish Reconquista while Christians sometimes cared for Muslim prisoners or protected civilians during wars, the Church never built mosques nor encouraged their worship..
- Popes During the Crusades often called for humane treatment of captives and protected non-combatants—but never blurred the line between the true religion and false religions.
- Missionary Orders like Franciscans and Dominicans in Islamic lands provided care, protection, and intercession—but always with the goal of conversion.
Sign Of Peace?
True peace comes through Christ. Peace is not the result of syncretism or flattery. Peace comes through submission to the Kingship of Christ.
Pope Pius XI writes in Quas Primas (1925):
"When individuals and states refuse to submit to the rule of our Savior, peace is an empty word."
The Modernist "bishop" has substituted a false peace for the peace of Christ, confirming souls in error and participating in the building up of the Antichrist system. He did it from "the heart", he insists. Yes, from a Modernist heart covered in Catholic-looking Episcopal attire - the heart is Modernist, but the attire quite Catholic.
Summing Up: Modernist Apostasy In Action
By building a mosque, the Nigerian Novus Ordo "bishop" has manifested:
- Public betrayal of the Catholic Faith.
- Formal participation in false worship.
- Scandal to unsuspecting Catholics.
- Indifferentism condemned by the Popes time without number.
- Proof of the rotten fruits of Modernism and Vatican II.
No doubts, this is not the first time agents of modernist revolution in permanence would publicly betray Catholic Faith, formally participate in false worship, manifest and promote indifferentism. No. It is not the first time.
Now, apart from being an invalid Bishop, he clearly manifests himself as being not a true successor of the Apostles, but an ecclesiastical robber, a usurper of sacred authority, and a servant of the world, not of Christ.
It must be recalled:
There is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved." ( Acts 4:12)
All aid to false worship must be refused.
Oh that it be granted to the victims of this Modernist Episcopal intruder and his comrades in the Modernist, ecumenical, synodal, Pan-Reilgious imposture, to see their status for what it is, judge and act as would Catholics worthy of such nobel a name!
May truth dawn on the deceived heart,
And noble Catholics play their part.
May faith's pure flame, forever shine bright,
And authentic truth, be their guiding light.
