In Apostate Rome...

 Preamble:

In Apostate Rome the Chair of St. Peter, untouched by any stain of heresy in general and the stain of the synthesis of all heresies in particular, is totally vacant by Divine Law... 

Today is the feast of St. Peter's Chair at Rome. This Feast reminds us that the manifestation of the divinity of Jesus which echoes during this this after Epiphany demands of us the recognition of His kingship over our souls. 

St. Peter, as Vicar of Christ, sit on the chair of authority once occupied by Jesus Himself and hold the keys in his hand as a symbol of supreme authority. 

Rome Before St. Peter's Advent.

Pope St. Leo the Great paints for us a dine portrait of Rome before St. Peter's coming to it. This is found in the readings of the second nocturne of the feast (the fifth lesson). He says:

 In Rome were the dreams of an unbelieving philosophy to be destroyed, in Rome were the empty utterances of earthly wisdom to be confuted, in Rome was idolatry to be overcome, in Rome was profanity to be put down, even in Rome, where the activity of superstition had gathered together from the whole earth every error which it could find. O most blessed Apostle Peter! this was the city to which thou didst not shrink to come.

 Yes, to this City St. Peter went. He made it the headquarters of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded on him, Peter, the Rock. He made Rome the headquarters of the Kingdom of God on earth. He did this, so that the light of the true Faith may spread and shine to every part of the civilized world, since "all roads" led to Rome. 

Then, In Apostate Rome...

In Apostate Rome idolatry walks boldly, seeking revenge as it were... 

Today, in Apostate Rome:

• The unbelieving philosophy of the Modernist impostors resigns supreme -filling everywhere with the empty utterances of the naturalist wisdom whose trademark is indifferentism.
• Idolatry walks boldly - seeking revenge as it were, having being once trampled upon by St. Peter and his true successors.
• Profanity seeks bold recognition of it's right to exist in the public square, though once driven to hide in the darkness where it belongs.
• The activity of superstition has reconvened every error which it can find from the whole earth: it goes by the name "modernism" -the synthesis of all heresies. 
• The most pernicious of the precursors of the antichrist sanction and approve abominable vices. They give equal rights to vice and virtue, truth and error. 

The heart wrenching fact, however, is that the majority cannot yet figure out the imposture of the manifest Modernist apostates occupying Rome and Catholic buildings across the world.

In Apostate Rome the activity of superstition has reconvened every error which it can find from the whole earth...

Unflinching Faith...

Eternal, Catholic Rome is eclipsed, this is certain. But, we know that the gates of hell shall not prevail. 

The seat of blessed Peter, untouched by any stain of heresy, including that of the synthesis of all heresies, is, by Divine Law, totally empty, vacant. 

The light of the true Faith keeps burning. And, men of good will being led to recognize it. Blessed be God, ordering all things sweetly!
