Awaiting a Miracle!

 Awaiting a Miracle!

The miraculous conversion of St. Paul...
Should we expect similar miracle for many today,
who. dazed by the modernist poison of indifferentism,
persecute intransigent Catholics?

Listen to its YouTube version here...

Preamble:

From Butler's "Lives of the Saints" we have the following extract which gives us a picturesque view of the life of St. Paul whose conversion we celebrate today:

"...Saul, (he says) surpassing all his equals in zeal for the Jewish law and their traditions, which he thought the cause of God, became thereby a blasphemer, a persecutor, and the most outrageous enemy of Christ...

But God was pleased to show forth in him his patience and mercy; and, moved by the prayers of St. Stephen and his other persecuted servants, for their enemies, changed him, in the very heat of his fury, into a vessel of election, and made him a greater man in his church by the grace of the apostleship, than St. Stephen had ever been, and a more illustrious instrument of his glory...A perfect model of a true conversion, the greatest work of almighty grace!

...St. Paul never recalled to mind this his wonderful conversion, without raptures of gratitude and praise to the divine mercy. The church, in thanksgiving to God for such a miracle of his grace, from which it has derived such great blessings, and to commemorate so miraculous an instance of his almighty power, and to propose to penitents a perfect model of a true conversion, has instituted this festival..."

The state of affairs...

To-day, intransigent Catholics, otherwise known as "Sedevacantists" are victims of the bitter zeal and blindness of those who, while clinging to the Catholic name, are dazed by the Modernist poison of indifferentism, with which they have been generously fed. Generally, the bitterness of their zeal and their blindness is in direct proportion to the dosage of the poison already consumed, which in turn is proportionate to the duration of the consumption.

Just like the early Catholics of the Apostolic age, intransigent Catholics to-day are called members of a sect, an outlawed sect that must be crushed by the hook or crook of calumnies and character assassination that can only have the diabolic for it's origin...

In their false zeal and blindness, the victims of the Modernist hypocrisy consider their attachment to, and defense of, the Novus Ordo Robber church as attachment to, and defense of the Catholic Church and the cause of God.

How are they to know that by promoting the Novus Ordo ecumenical impiety and persecuting instransigent Catholics adhering to the Unchanging and Unchanged Catholic doctrine and morals for the glory of God and salvation of souls, they thereby constitute themselves blasphemers, persecutors, and outrageous enemies of Christ?!

Oh, how stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears they proof to be! How they always resist the Holy Ghost: refusing to give a listening ear and to take the pains to examine factual evidence readily available; facts against which no argument can be made! As their fathers did, the pioneer modernists and modernizers, so they also do today: refusing to hear the objective voice of the Teaching Authority of the Church, preferring their subjective religious sense, welling up from the depths of their subconsciousness.

Earnest Longings...

How we look forward to when it would please God to be moved by the prayers of His persecuted servants, and would change these victims of the Modernist imposture in the very heat of their fury, into vessels of election: making them greater men in his church by the grace of their witnesses, and more illustrious instruments of his glory...for the exaltation of His Holy Church and the salvation of souls!

While awaiting that miracle of Grace, leaving all to the Good Pleasure of the Good Lord Who disposes all things sweetly, may it be ours to persevere in giving testimony to the Unchanging and Unchanged Truth of the Catholic Faith; enlightening souls and unmasking the modernist hypocrisy and trending insidious sophisms.

Oh, St. Paul, a chosen vessel unto God to preach the Gospel throughout the whole world! Pray for us to God who had chosen thee, that we may be made worthy of the grace of God!
